Seminar on Educational utilization of

Arts Club- An arts club is functioning in the college
with a vision to identify and develop the various extra-curricular
talents of the students. It provides a platform for the students
to develop their creative skills. Encouraging creativity is the
key to cultivate innovative engineers and professionals. The arts
club conducts regular events like Arts Day Celebrations, Talent
Scans etc. and seasonal festivals like Onam, X'mas, New Year etc.
Shri O.Madhavan renowned dramatist and orator inaugurated the arts
club.

Technical Associations- There are 4 technical associations
viz ESPRIT(EC), Faraday's Club(EE), SEA.COM(CS) and CBIT(IT). These
associations organizes class seminars, workshop etc on related disciplines.
The objective of these associations is to bring together all students
of the respective branches and to work together in academic and
in all other extra-curricular activities. These associations organize
study groups in subjects that are dealt in the current seminars.

ECHO released. The first issue of the home magazine
of Electronics and Communication students was releasd by Chairman
Adv. Jayachandran Nair by handing over a copy to the Principal during
the Annual Day Celebrations on 25th September 2001.

Onam celebrated. Onam 2004 was celebrated with lot
of marvel and fun. There was an 'Athapoovidal' competition on 20th
August 2004.

Annual day celebrations. The Annual day of the college
was celebrated on 25th September 2003. Shri Prayar Gopalakrishnan,
MLA was the chief guest for the public meeting held at the college
ground. The meeting was followed by a cultural fest by the students,
which kept the audience wonder struck for more than thre hours.

ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The Academic Calendar of Kerala University is followed in this college.
CAREERS
The college has already started establishing excellent links with institutions
of the kind in India and abroad, and this wills eater to needs of students
as well as teachers especially to have better experiences in respective
areas. Proposals are on way to have academic collaboration with few universities
in the United Kingdom. This is an effort to adopt the twinning concepts
emerging in modern technical education. Industrial training will be done
in reputed institutions and industries during semester breaks and vacations.
There are plans to conduct coaching classes and administer counseling
the students who appear for various competitive examinations, to provide
information to students about the various programme available and also
to prepare them for various entrance examinations like GRE, GATE, G-MAT
etc. Arrangements will be made for the visits of Chief executives of different
companies with an aim to develop a campus selection system for the students
in their final year.
